whoa... I can cook!

Last night for Mothers Day I made a special dinner for my family. I looked it up on AllRecipes.com and scaled it to serve 7 people. I made a yummy seafood risotto and added in asparagus, tomatoes and shrimp to the original recipe with clams and clam juice. It was GREAT! I cook often but its rare for me to create a dinner for 7 people with a new recipe that I've never done. Also risotto is not exactly an easy process with the stirring for 40 minutes and everything! I also made shrimp cocktail in martini glasses for an appetizer.

A couple of weeks ago I made my own pasta sauce and turkey meatballs with whole wheat pasta. Yum!

I need to get back onto the CORE weight watchers plan so no more cupcakes and carrot cake and cookies and all that bad stuff I ate this past week!

Bring on the recipes! Time to lose some weight but eat well!

Oooh, seafood risotto sounds fantastic! I remember when we went to Boston and Desmond got us this mushroom risotto thingy - I don't even like mushrooms, but I loved it.

My cooking facilities are kinda crap here, but when I go home in August I'll probably try to make it (or get my dad to make it). :)

I'm thinking WW again too. But I'm teetering. Do you think it'llhelp my poor state since now Cheryl is just saddened by me...not much motivating, just a sympathetic ear!
