Airports & Flying

So there are people who travel WAY more than me but I still travel quite a bit. In 2007 I did a 4+ month stint going back and forth from Boston to San Francisco every week. I had to sit in the middle seat on red-eye flights for 6 hours. I also once missed a connection in Chicago and somewhere in those airports got the flu. I had to fly into Providence and take a 2 hour car service back home for $400 almost throwing up the entire time. I've also almost missed international flights for spending too much time in the bar and had to run almost 100 gates in Heathrow Airport.

I also had to sleep in the Dallas Airport after missing our connection back to Boston from LA because of the 2004 fires and the delays in LA because of the raging fires and winds.

Recently I had to sit next to a man who was falling asleep on me and yesterday I sat next to a lady that smelled like moth balls.

I've lost luggage. I've even forgot what my luggage looked like and thought that I lost my luggage. As a kid I flew by myself at the age of 12 down to visit my relatives in Florida. I fell asleep on the plane and woke up thinking everyone was killed (aka asleep) and went screaming up and down the aisle.

You'd think I would hate traveling. You just have to take the good with the bad. Bring a good book and your charged up iPod and you are good to go.

Hey - at least I'm not this guy.

I don't know how I missed this post. But your flying at age 12 post is hilarious!
